Program Overview
Maintenance strategy
Course Description
Maintenance strategies include the development of methods and principles for developing preventive maintenance plans that ensure a high operational reliability. A facility that is maintained can be used longer and available resources can be used more efficiently. In this course, you will learn about the maintenance process, how to do system mapping, and methods for choosing what maintenance needs to be done. You will also gain knowledge of how maintenance strategies can be used to achieve business goals by meeting production targets. The knowledge is applied to industrial systems and you will develop a maintenance strategy by developing maintenance plans for the system's units. The ability to maintain aging systems is becoming increasingly important in industry and society to ensure that what should work will continue to do so.
