Program Overview
Advanced Certificate in Crisis Management
The need for counselors, student affairs professionals, school administrators, public officials, human resource professionals, first responders, and clergy to effectively manage potential mental health crises has never been more pressing. In response to this need, LIU Hudson has developed an innovative and timely program to continuously develop policies and procedures to mitigate risk—physical, emotional, and legal—in school and community agencies, as well as to ensure the safety of all.
Admissions Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field of study, from an accredited institution
Advanced Certificate Format
- 12-credit cohort program
- Completion in only two semesters
- Classes meet Saturdays and Sundays for six weekends per semester
