Program Overview
The Emergency Medical Services Technology Associate of Applied Science program enables graduates to obtain state certification as an EMT-Paramedic, providing the highest level of emergency medical service available. This certification increases the pool of qualified paramedics for both public and private emergency medical service providers in northeast Ohio.
Program Details
The AAS in Emergency Medical Services offers both professional certification and education, going beyond the training required for certification. It recognizes the amount of learning associated with a Licensed Paramedic Program, enhancing skills with critical thinking, problem-solving, and cultural diversity awareness attributes of higher education.
Curriculum
The Emergency Medical Services - Fire/Medic Option - AAS program consists of 60 credits.
