Program Overview

The Electronic Information Engineering program is designed to cultivate high-level engineering technicians with a strong foundation in electronic technology and information systems. The program aims to produce graduates who can work in various industries, including electronic information, instrumentation, industrial detection, intelligent manufacturing, new energy technology, aerospace, finance and information, the Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence.

(1) Training Objectives

The program aims to cultivate students with good professional ethics and a strong sense of innovation, who can engage in research, development, operation, and management in the field of electronic information engineering.


(2) Talent Specifications

  • Moral Requirements: Students should have a correct political orientation, be physically and mentally healthy, and possess a strong sense of professionalism and perseverance.
  • Knowledge Requirements:
    • (1) Students should have a solid foundation in electronic technology and information systems, as well as the ability to design, develop, manufacture, apply, maintain, and manage related work.
    • (2) Students should be familiar with industry standards and regulations, and be able to effectively apply electronic information engineering theories and multidisciplinary knowledge to analyze and solve complex engineering problems.
  • Ability Requirements:
    • (1) Students should have effective communication skills, be able to lead teams, and acquire resources from multiple channels to master cutting-edge technologies related to their field of work.
    • (2) Students should have a sense of cost and risk control, and be able to reasonably evaluate the impact of complex engineering problem-solving schemes on the environment and sustainable development.

Program Duration and Management

  • The basic program duration is 3 years, with a minimum duration of 2.5 years and a maximum duration of 5 years.

  • Professional Core Courses: 6 compulsory courses, including Data Structure, Single-Chip Microcomputer Principle, Information Engineering Network, Digital Signal Processing, Automatic Control Principle, and VC Programming Design.
  • Professional Expansion Courses: 6 elective courses, including Sensor Technology, Measurement and Control Circuit, Robot Control Technology, Mobile Development Technology Principle, Information Engineering Network Experiment, and Single-Chip Microcomputer Principle Course Design.

Teaching Implementation

Assessment and Graduation Requirements

  • Course Assessment: Course assessment combines process-based assessment and final assessment, with the final exam score accounting for 40-80% of the total score.
  • Graduation Requirements: Students who complete all required courses, pass the exams, and obtain the required credits can graduate and receive a bachelor's degree from Shanghai University of Technology.

Degree Requirements

The program sets four degree courses: Marxist Basic Principles, College English, Graduation Thesis (Design), and Higher Mathematics. Students who meet the degree application requirements can apply for a bachelor's degree.
