Program Overview

Program Overview

The "North European Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship" project is a collaborative effort between our university and the University of Oulu in Finland. This project has been established since 2014, based on the inter-university cooperation agreement between the two institutions. Over the past 10 years, nine cohorts of our students have completed overseas studies, obtaining academic credits and certificates from the University of Oulu, which carries the prestigious AACSB accreditation.

Project Introduction

In Finnish universities, innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship education is a compulsory course for all students, regardless of their major or year of study. The University of Oulu offers a unique combination of technology, design, and business, using an interactive teaching mode that includes flipped classrooms, workshops, elevator pitches, teamwork, and team presentations. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit innovative enterprises, such as the Mojang Studios, the developer of the popular game Minecraft.
