Introduction to the University Program

The university program is a collaborative effort between Shanghai University of Technology and the Nantes Atlantic Design Academy in France. The program aims to provide students with a unique opportunity to study abroad and gain international experience.

Program Overview

• The program is open to students from the School of Printing and Packaging Engineering, Shanghai University of Technology.
• Students will have the opportunity to study at the Nantes Atlantic Design Academy for one year, with the possibility of extending their stay for an additional two years to pursue a master's degree.
• The program is designed for students in their second or third year of study, with the goal of providing them with a comprehensive education in design and related fields.

Admission Criteria

• Students must be registered at the School of Printing and Packaging Engineering, Shanghai University of Technology.
• Students must be in their second or third year of study.
• Language requirements: IELTS score of 5.5 or higher (obtained before August 1, 2022).
• Application materials:
  • International Exchange Program Application Form (see attachment).
  • Personal resume.
  • Application letter.
  • University transcript.
  • Portfolio (10 pieces, PDF format, not exceeding 20M, with an optional 20-40 line English introduction).

Tuition Fees and Expenses

• Students will pay tuition fees to Shanghai University of Technology for four years.
• Students will pay tuition fees to the Nantes Atlantic Design Academy for the duration of their study abroad (approximately 9,000 euros per year).
• Students will be responsible for their own living expenses in France (approximately 6,000 euros for 10 months).

Application Procedure

• Students submit their application forms and materials to the university by May 23.
• The university will announce the list of recommended students on May 25.
• Students will undergo a remote English interview with the Nantes Atlantic Design Academy, with the results announced in early June.
• Students who are accepted will sign a contract and pay the relevant fees.
• Visa application procedures will take place in July and August, with students expected to arrive in France in October.

Program Details

• Students who complete the program successfully will receive a bachelor's degree from the Nantes Atlantic Design Academy and a bachelor's degree from Shanghai University of Technology.
• Students who choose to pursue a master's degree will have the opportunity to receive a master's degree from the Nantes Atlantic Design Academy, which is recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
