CHSOC Interdisciplinary Studies
The CHSOC Interdisciplinary Studies (INDS) program allows students to design their own degree plan to better prepare for emerging careers dependent upon communication expertise. With the help of a committee comprised of faculty inside and outside CHSOC, students choose their interdisciplinary focus combining SOC curriculum with courses from other schools and departments at Howard University.
Program Requirements
INDS students will also complete an internship-practicum and a capstone project, and are able to take advantage of other experiential learning opportunities such as study abroad, specialized research, etc.
