BA in Art History
The Art History program provides the necessary coursework and writing skills to enter the professional fields of museum work, art gallery management, art consultancy, arts management, and art writing, among others. It also offers the basis for developing a career in teaching and provides a solid foundation for continuing on to graduate programs in art-related disciplines. The curriculum offers specialty courses on the history of art from Europe, Asia, Islamic and African worlds, and the Americas. Art historical methodologies are included in courses in art theory, art criticism, art and anthropology, and museology.
