Clinical Medical Assistant Program

The Clinical Medical Assistant program is a comprehensive certificate program designed to prepare learners to assist physicians with the clinical responsibilities of a medical office. The program trains students to assist physicians and gain the skills needed to support patient care and perform essential clinical tasks.

  • Hybrid online format: This format combines asynchronous online curriculum with live online Zoom lectures and seven in-person hands-on lab session classes held on campus.
  • Fully online program: This self-paced program does not meet live or in person, and students have access to materials online to complete the program at their own pace.

Instructors

The instructors for the program are industry professionals with working knowledge and experience in the local field. They have at least 7 years of practical work experience and formal teaching and/or field training experience.
