Master of Science in Health Care Administration (MSHCA) Program

The Master of Science in Health Care Administration (MSHCA) program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the changing needs of the health care industry. The program combines online and face-to-face weekend instruction, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the health care system, managerial skills, financial management, and strategic business in the health industry.

The MSHCA program is a 45-credit unit program that consists of 15 core courses. The program is designed to be completed in two years, with a structured format that allows students to attend full-time. The program is ideal for professional executives and managers with experience in the health care industry, as well as new executives or leaders in the health care industry who need to learn about current issues and practices in health care administration.

Admission Requirements

All applicants to the accelerated MSHCA program are required to meet the following minimum requirements for admissions consideration:

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of at least 3.0 in the last 60 units of undergraduate study
• At least nine units of financial accounting, microeconomics, and statistics, all of which must be completed before the first semester of graduate study
• A minimum of three years of U.S. work experience in the health care industry OR recent GRE or GMAT score

Tuition Fees

The tuition fee for the MSHCA program is $550 per unit.
