The Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Food Administration - Nutrition and Dietetics is a comprehensive program that requires a minimum of 120 units. The program consists of general education requirements and a minimum of 40 units in Family and Consumer Sciences, with 24 of those units being upper division.


Program Requirements

  • The program has two concentrations: Dietetics and Nutritional Science.
    • The Dietetics concentration focuses on nutritional science, medical nutrition therapy, community nutrition, food production, and management of foodservice operations.
    • The Nutritional Science concentration also covers nutritional science, along with chemistry, physiology, and supporting coursework in related disciplines.
  • Students transferring from another college or university may receive transfer credit for required courses if the course is equivalent to the course at this University and is accepted by the University.

Curriculum
