MBA Program

The MBA program at Chapman University is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in business, emphasizing the development of knowledge, problem-solving skills, and entrepreneurial leadership.

Learning Outcomes

The program has established the following learning outcomes:

• Knowledge of Business: Each student will effectively apply paradigms and theories in accounting, economics, finance, management, marketing, and operations to solve business problems.
• Problem Solving Skill: Each student will possess the quantitative and technical skills to analyze data and interpret the results to improve business performance.
• Entrepreneurial Leadership: Each student will be able to evaluate the economic potential of business opportunities, devise actionable strategies, and communicate recommendations persuasively.
• Global Professional: Each student will demonstrate awareness of legal, ethical, cultural, and professional perspectives of the global business environment.

Annual Learning Outcomes Assessment Report

The faculty of the MBA program measure student attainment of program learning outcomes goals on an annual basis. The assessment processes used by this program are outlined in the Learning Outcomes Assessment Process document.

Program Review

Program review is a periodic evaluation of the educational effectiveness of the MBA program, conducted every 5 to 7 years. This process involves a self-study report prepared by program faculty members, which is reviewed by external expert reviewers, numerous Chapman faculty governance councils and committees, and the Office of the Provost. The results of the program review guide institutional planning, budgeting, and decision-making.
