Program Objective

The objective of the program is to prepare students to defend their dissertations and obtain a degree in technical or physical and mathematical sciences in the areas of microwave technology, gas discharge physics, particle optics, ion sources, and high-frequency energy.

• Investigation and development of ion and electron sources for modern particle accelerators and colliders
• Investigation and development of microwave resonators, including superconducting ones, for modern particle accelerators and colliders
• Investigation and development of microwave energy devices for remote heating of various technological objects
• Investigation and development of plasma accelerators and engines
• Algorithmic, software, and computer support for the above-mentioned areas
