Sino-Japan Program in Computer Science

The Sino-Japan Program in Computer Science is a joint program between Hangzhou Dianzi University (HDU) and the University of Yamanashi.

History of Cooperation

• June 26-27, 2008: First visit to HDU by University of Yamanashi, cooperation started with the SE software engineering program, 7 students were admitted.
• Dec. 16-17, 2008: First visit to University of Yamanashi by HDU, MOU Signed.
• Sept. 2009: 7 HDU students went to University of Yamanashi to register the SE program.
• From an unspecified date, 77 HDU students and 4 HDU staff visited the University of Yamanashi for a one-month cultural program.
• From an unspecified date, University of Yamanashi students came to HDU and Hangzhou for a 2-week language & internship program.
• Sept. 11, 2014: 11 University of Yamanashi students visited HDU.
• Sept. 22, 2015: President of University of Yamanashi visited HDU.
• January 2017: Joint Master Program of Computer Science between HDU and University of Yamanashi was approved by Ministry of Education, PRC.
• September 2018: Opening Ceremony of the Joint Master Program of Computer Science was held in HDU.

Program Details

The program involves academic and cultural exchanges between the two universities, including student visits, joint research, and a joint master's program in computer science.

The program is conducted at both Hangzhou Dianzi University in China and the University of Yamanashi in Japan, with specified campuses including:
