Program Overview
Introduction to the Network Space Security Program
The Network Space Security program is designed to cultivate high-level, application-oriented, and compound professionals with a solid theoretical foundation, strong engineering practice capabilities, and good professional qualities. These professionals will be able to effectively solve real network security problems and serve the security protection needs of the country, industry, and organizations.
Program Objectives
The program aims to train students to become professional backbones with the ability to solve complex engineering problems and have good career development potential. The program focuses on developing students' abilities in the following areas:
- Professional Foundation and Core Technology: Systematically master the core theoretical knowledge system of network space security (such as cryptography, network attack and defense principles, system security, software security, security management, and security protocols) and mainstream technology methods.
- Engineering Practice and Problem-Solving: Familiarize students with mainstream security tools and technologies (such as penetration testing, vulnerability mining and utilization, intrusion detection, security reinforcement, security operation and maintenance, emergency response, security assessment, and data security protection).
- System Thinking and Comprehensive Application: Understand the characteristics of network security, such as systematization, dynamization, and confrontationality, and be able to comprehensively consider technical, management, and regulatory factors to conduct security risk assessment, strategy formulation, and system defense design.
- Professional Qualities and Continuous Development: Foster students' strong security awareness, sense of responsibility, risk awareness, and confidentiality awareness, as well as good communication and cooperation abilities, project management abilities, and technical document writing abilities.
