Program Overview
Introduction to the "Future Educator" Training Workshop
The "Future Educator" training workshop, organized by the Education College (Teacher Education College) of Zhejiang Normal University, aims to enhance the educational and teaching abilities of normal students, as well as their career development capabilities. The workshop is divided into three core modules: basic skills training, experience sharing, and one-on-one diagnostic training.
Basic Skills Training: Laying the Foundation
The basic skills training module focuses on cultivating students' strict and standardized writing habits. Through a combination of online and offline activities, students participate in a 10-day writing exercise, practicing pencil, hard pen, and brush writing. Professional teachers provide guidance on pen holding, writing, and blackboard design, helping students improve their writing standards and aesthetic appeal.
Experience Sharing: Guiding Growth
The experience sharing module invites outstanding students and teachers to share their experiences and provide guidance on teaching skills. The "Speech Transmission - Teaching Language Expression Training" activity, held on November 20, focuses on standard Mandarin pronunciation, teaching expression, and classroom response. Students participate in rich and interactive forms, such as tongue twisters, case studies, and situational simulations, to practice their language skills and teaching logic.
One-on-One Diagnostic Training: Enhancing Teaching Abilities
The one-on-one diagnostic training module provides students with a simulated interview and lecture environment, allowing them to receive personalized feedback and guidance from evaluators. The activity covers eight majors, including subject teaching (Chinese), subject teaching (mathematics), primary education, and subject teaching (history). Evaluators provide specific suggestions for improvement, helping students accurately identify their strengths and weaknesses and achieve a substantial improvement in their teaching abilities.
Conclusion
The successful completion of the "Future Educator" training workshop demonstrates the Education College's commitment to cultivating high-quality teachers. The college will continue to optimize the "Future Educator" brand activity, providing students with more diverse forms and high-quality resources to help them grow into excellent teachers with both "technique" and "morality."
