Introduction to the 2025 Zhejiang Normal University Middle-Level Cadre Ideal Faith Education Specialized Training Class

The 2025 Zhejiang Normal University Middle-Level Cadre Ideal Faith Education Specialized Training Class was held at the Guizhou Zunyi Cadre Academy from August 18th to 22nd. Over 40 participants, including secretaries of secondary party organizations and responsible persons from party affairs departments, attended the training.

Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony of the training class was held on the morning of August 18th at the Guizhou Zunyi Cadre Academy. Attendees included Jiang Yunliang, Secretary of the Zhejiang Normal University Party Committee, Jiang Meng, Vice President of the Guizhou Zunyi Cadre Academy, and Wang Shuping, Member of the Zhejiang Normal University Party Committee and Director of the Organization Department. The ceremony was hosted by Fu Guanfu, Deputy Secretary of the Zhejiang Normal University Party Committee.

Training Content

The training class focused on ideal faith education, with rich content and diverse forms. The program included specialized lectures such as:

• Xi Jinping's Important Discourse on Political Construction of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era
• Deeply Understanding the Decisive Significance of "Two Establishments" from the Zunyi Conference
• Party Building and Development "Double Promotion" to Promote High-Quality Development: Practice and Thinking

Additionally, the training included on-site teaching at locations such as the Zunyi Conference Memorial Hall, Xifeng Concentration Camp, and the Lou Mountain Pass, as well as experiential teaching activities like re-walking the Long March road and making grass shoes.

Expectations and Outcomes

Jiang Yunliang emphasized that this training is a specialized education aimed at deepening the understanding of the party's spirit, consolidating the achievements of learning and education, and promoting the construction of a high-quality university. He proposed three requirements for the trainees:

1. Gather Talents and Strengthen Teams: to add new momentum to the construction of a first-class university.
2. Define Targets and Detailed Planning: to accurately chart the course for the construction of a first-class university.
3. Promote the "Six Strives" and Ensure Implementation: to achieve new performances in the construction of a first-class university.

Fu Guanfu pointed out that the university party committee attaches great importance to this training and hopes that all participants will deeply understand the spirit of Jiang Yunliang's speech, transform the Zunyi Conference spirit into actual actually actions, and achieve new breakthroughs in thought, work, and development through this training.

Conclusion

The five-day specialized training allowed participants to draw spiritual strength from Zunyi, a city of great historical significance, and to temper their party character. The trainees expressed their determination to take this training as a new starting point, inherit the spirit of the Zunyi Conference, and translate the learning outcomes into concrete actions to promote the development of the university.
