Introduction to the Erasmus+ EU Exchange Program
The university is participating in the Erasmus+ EU exchange program, and as part of this program, the school plans to select outstanding students and teachers to study and teach at the University of Tours in France.
Selection Plan
The university will select:
- 11 undergraduate students for a 4.5-month exchange program
- 1 professional teacher for a 14-day exchange program
The selection time is for the academic year, and the specific time will be determined by the University of Tours' admission time.
Selection Tasks and Funding
- Selection Tasks:
- Undergraduate students: Study related majors in French to enhance cross-cultural communication skills
- Professional teachers: Teach Chinese language and culture in English to promote language and cultural exchange between the university and the University of Tours
- Funding:
- The EU Erasmus+ program provides living expenses (850 per month for students, 160 per day for teachers) and a one-time international travel subsidy (1,500 per person) through the University of Tours
Selection Requirements
- Eligibility:
- Undergraduate students: Must be enrolled in the university's foreign language and literature major, above the sophomore level (including sophomore level)
- Professional teachers: Must be teachers of foreign language and literature majors (doctoral, professor, or high-level personnel)
- Other Requirements:
- Must support the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party and the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics
- Must have a sense of responsibility and correct worldview, outlook on life, and values
- Language Requirements:
- Undergraduate students: Must have a French language level of at least B1
Selection Method
Applicants must fill out the project application form and provide the required materials before the deadline. The international exchange and cooperation office will review the applications and guide the applicants to submit their applications to the University of Tours.
Notes
Due to the impact of domestic and international epidemic prevention policies, there is still a risk that students may not be able to go abroad in the fall semester. This project is in the pre-registration stage, and applicants should be aware of the situation and make academic plans in advance.
