Unit Description
Provides students with an understanding of and competency in applying the principles and practice of musculoskeletal and workplace rehabilitation. This unit also aims to develop advanced clinical reasoning while integrating the osteopathic principles and practices into patient care. Simulated clinical cases are used to develop clinical reasoning and practical skills.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
- Apply the biopsychosocial model for clinical management and musculoskeletal and workplace rehabilitation
- Develop rational clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills in the construction of management plans for simulated patient cases common to osteopathic practice
- Identify the principles of musculoskeletal and workplace rehabilitation
- Demonstrate competency in constructing and applying appropriate return to work management plans for patients based on the principles of workplace rehabilitation
