Unit Description

Provides knowledge of distributed ledger and blockchain technology and how they can be used in real-world scenarios such as payment systems or supply-chain management. Students will learn the blockchain mechanisms such as consensus, privacy-preserving protocols and smart contracts, as well as models and frameworks to develop a secure blockchain application in smart environments.
