The Associate Degree of Information Technology is a two-year full-time or four-year part-time course that provides students with a strong technical focus in information technology. The course covers core units in web development, programming, systems analysis and design, cyber security, databases, networking, and communications theory.

To be eligible to receive the Associate Degree of Information Technology, students must complete the equivalent of 16 units (192 credit points), comprising:
- 10 core units (120 credit points)
- 2 specialist units (24 credit points)
- 4 elective units (48 credit points)
