Course Objectives:
The objective of this course is to enable students to design computer animations, familiarize them with basic concepts and methods for generating animation, and analyze and realize the process of creating animation.
Course Content:
The course covers topics such as:
- Modeling: space, objects, and structures
- Transformations, global and local
- Modeling techniques, curves, primitives, surfaces
- Geometry of fractals, particle systems, modeling of plants, modeling of physical characteristics
- Modeling of skin, hair, and clothing
- Drawing the basic shape of 3D animation and animating the basic figure through 12 principles of animation
Teaching Methods:
The course is taught through lectures, laboratory practice, and project work.
