Program Overview


Human Resources Management

The Human Resources Management program at the University of Southern Mississippi prepares students to take on professional HR positions within organizations. The program is designed to equip students with the skills necessary to recruit and select talent, develop existing staff, and implement compensation and benefits structures that align with the organization's overall strategy.


Program Overview

The program is available in Hattiesburg and online, with a total of 120 credit hours required for completion. Students can also pursue a management minor, which requires an additional 18 hours. The College of Business and Economic Development, which houses the Human Resources Management program, is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
