Hours to Degree
120 hours are needed to graduate with a BS in Industrial Engineering Technology with an emphasis in Logistics. Of the total hours applied to this degree, 30 hours must be in courses numbered at the 300 level or above. The student must earn at least 21 of the last 30 hours of coursework at least 12 hours in the major area of study from Southern Miss.
Admission Requirements

The career outlook for Logistics graduates is very promising as it is demanding and highly paid. One of the strengths of an education in industrial engineering technology is the diverse curriculum, which provides graduates with a wide variety of technical and management skills as well as problem-solving techniques. This diversity makes a number of career paths available, with the result that the overall demand for industrial engineering technologists remains high. Based on the alumni survey, 95% of graduates land a job related to the discipline within a year of their graduation.
