Program Overview
Master of Education in Educational Leadership
The Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership offers two concentrations to reach career objectives, effective Fall 2024.
Program Concentrations
- K-12 Concentration: Provides content knowledge and credentials necessary to effectively lead schools, districts, multi-million dollar educational organizations, and/or post-secondary educational institutions. Graduates will be eligible for Tier I Leadership Certification after completing coursework and meeting GaPSC certification requirements. An 18-hour "certification only" option is available for those with a master's degree in a teaching field.
- Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) Concentration: Prepares students for leadership positions in post-secondary education, including student affairs units, university administration, and college athletics administration.
Program Details
- Both concentrations are 30-credit hour online programs, typically completed in five semesters (spring/summer/fall).
- Students are expected to be employed in a professional role in an organization providing educational services while in the program.

Admissions Requirements
- Online Graduate Application: A non-refundable $60 application fee applies.

- Bachelor's Degree: A minimum GPA of 2.75 from a regionally accredited college or university.

- GACE Leadership Ethic Assessment Completion Certificate.
