The Education Specialist Degree in Secondary and Middle Grades Education is designed to develop in-depth knowledge and skills to implement in classrooms and schools, advancing all students' rights to an education that supports social and economic justice and academic success.

Admission Requirements
- Online Graduate Application with a non-refundable $60 application fee
- Transcripts from each college and/or university attended
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75 from a regionally accredited college or university
- An earned master's degree in Secondary and Middle Grades Education or a related field
- A clear and renewable (or comparable) Georgia teaching certificate or equivalent in the teaching field
- Mentor Form indicating support from a qualified mentor who meets the GaPSC Mentor Requirements (if seeking GaPSC certification)
- Resume or Professional Vitae indicating a minimum of three years of experience teaching the subject field in middle or secondary schools
