Program Overview
Molekulare Medizin (MSc)
Overview
The Molekulare Medizin (MSc) program is conducted in English. The admission process takes place exclusively in the winter semester.
Admission Requirements
- Persons who have completed a Bachelor's degree in Molekulare Medizin at the Medizinische Universit‰t Innsbruck or are in the final phase of such a program.
- Persons who have completed a related Bachelor's, Diploma, or Master's degree at a recognized domestic or foreign post-secondary educational institution or are in the final phase of such a program.
Application Process
General Information
- The application for the QMM-MSc program can be found on the homepage "Zulassung/Aufnahmeverfahren Molekulare Medizin Master".
- The application is made through the ANV Management Portal.
- It is possible to participate in the admission processes for PHARM_SCI, Human-/Zahnmedizin in the same year, provided the dates do not overlap.
Registration
- To ensure registration, applicants receive an immediate confirmation in their ANV Management Portal after applying.
- The registration for the admission test becomes valid only after the costs have been paid in full and all required documents have been uploaded completely and on time to the ANV Management Portal.
Cost Contribution
- The cost contribution for the QMM-MSc admission process is EUR 60.
- The cost contribution must be paid via the ANV Management Portal according to the regulations.
- The cost contribution is used to cover the costs incurred by the universities for the admission processes, such as personnel and resource costs, printing costs, etc.
- There is no claim to a refund of the cost contribution if the applicant does not participate in the admission test or misses the upload deadline.
Selection Interview
- A maximum of 50 applicants will be invited to selection interviews.
- Invitations are sent about two weeks before the interview date via the ANV Management Portal, with notification by email.
- The selection interview takes place exclusively in person in Innsbruck.
- Alternative dates are not offered in case of absence due to illness or other reasons.
Admission
- For admission to the study program, a study place offer through successful completion of the admission process and fulfillment of the admission requirements are necessary.
- The result of the admission process is valid only for the academic year for which the process was taken. Deferral is possible for important reasons after admission.
