Program Overview
University Program: Electronic Accessibility of Word Documents
The University of Thessaly's Equal Access Unit for individuals with disabilities and special educational needs is implementing a series of actions related to accessibility issues for individuals with disabilities and/or special educational needs.
Program Description
The program includes laboratory seminars on the basic principles of electronic accessibility. The seminars will be held in person at the University of Thessaly's laboratories. The goal of these seminars is to inform and train the teaching and administrative staff.
Seminar Details
The first cycle of seminars is titled "Electronic Accessibility of Word Documents" and is addressed to the teaching and administrative staff of the University of Thessaly.
- The seminars will take place on the following dates:
- Thursday, March 5th, at 11:00, Laboratory 1, Department of Digital Systems, Larissa.
- Friday, March 13th, at 11:00, Laboratory of Computer Teaching, Undergraduate Program A24, Department of Economic Sciences, Volos.
- Wednesday, March 18th, at 11:00, Laboratory of Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Animal Health Economics, Department of Veterinary Medicine, Karditsa.
- Friday, March 27th, at 11:00, Computer Room, Department of Physical Education and Sports Science, Trikala.
- Thursday, April 2nd, at 11:00, Computer Laboratory 2, Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, Lamia.
Requirements
For better participation, it is recommended to use a personal laptop with Microsoft Office 365 installed.

The seminars are organized by the Equal Access Unit for individuals with disabilities and special educational needs, University of Thessaly, with the scientific and institutional responsibility of Dr. Magda Nikolaraizis, Assistant Professor of Special Education-Deaf Education, Department of Special Education, University of Thessaly.
