The University of Thessaly's Center for Lifelong Learning (.....) presents an educational program in photography and digital editing.
Program Description
The program "Photography and Digital Editing" is a 10-month course that provides modern knowledge to those who love the art of photography. It enables participants to recognize and identify the subject they want to photograph, control and use their camera perfectly, and apply the techniques learned to their own photographs. The successful completion of the program leads to the issuance of a Certificate of Attendance in Photography and Digital Editing from the University of Thessaly.
Target Audience
The program is addressed to:
- University students or graduates
- High school graduates
- Individuals of any age who want to learn about the art of photography and give their photos a new dimension
Program Objectives
The program aims to introduce participants to the art of photography, particularly digital editing. Through lectures, participants will learn about the history of photography, its evolution, and how it has been served by its enthusiasts.
Training
The program is based on the principles and procedures of face-to-face training programs and lifelong learning. It includes:
- Face-to-face meetings between instructors and participants for those residing in Thessaly
- Practical training and exercises in various locations
Curriculum
The program covers the following topics:
- Introduction to photography
- Camera control and techniques
- Digital editing software
- Practical exercises and projects
Duration and Schedule
The program lasts for 10 months, from November 15, 2016, to August 31, 2018.
Tuition Fees
The total cost of participation is 200, payable in two installments of 100 each.
Scientific Team
The program is led by Mr. Loukas Zachilas, Assistant Professor at the Department of Economic Sciences, University of Thessaly, and Mr. Zafiridis Argyris, educator and amateur photographer.
Certificate
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance in Photography and Digital Editing from the University of Thessaly.
