School Nursing and Mental Health Program

The purpose of the educational program "School Nursing and Mental Health" is to train participants in nursing issues related to the school community. More specifically, the goal is to transmit nursing knowledge that also covers mental health issues. The program aims to specialize participants, giving them the opportunity to provide information services (health education), support, and care for healthy and sick children with pediatric diseases, addressing acute and chronic cases with the ultimate goal of reducing immediate and long-term complications, improving the quality of life of the child and the family in a safe school environment, and facilitating their adaptation to daily life.

Scoring

• Scoring for permanent or temporary hiring with the ASSEP system (law 4589/2019) (2 points)
  • General Education Teachers (article 57)
  • Special Education Teachers (article 58)
  • Special Scientific Staff (article 59)
  • Special Auxiliary Staff (article 60)
• Evaluation of education staff with one (1) point per program and up to two (2) points (N.4823/2021, article 33)
• 10 points for hiring TE and DE teachers (FEK 1088/./)
• Scoring for adult educators in INEDIVIM announcements (Adult Educators Registry IEK FEK 3393/. /)

• Graduates of tertiary education (AEI & TEI) in Greece and abroad
• High school graduates
• Primary and secondary education teachers (permanent, substitute, and hourly)

Training

• The program's courses are conducted in the form of distance learning.
  • Synchronous distance education
  • Asynchronous distance education where trainees follow the program material in a flexible way

Registration

• The application for participation in the educational program "School Nursing and Mental Health" is done electronically only.
• Extension of registrations: Until 07/15/2022
• Start of training: 06/18/2022
• Participation cost: The total cost of the program is 350 in installments.
