Program Overview
Educational Program: Special Health Protocols for Tourist Enterprises
The University of Thessaly's Center for Training and Lifelong Learning (KEDIVIM) welcomes you to its new educational program, titled "Special Health Protocols for Tourist Enterprises in the Context of COVID-19 Measures." This program awards a Certificate of Attendance and lasts for 8 hours.
Program Details
- The program is jointly organized by the Region of Thessaly and KEDIVIM.
- The scientific responsibility of the seminars lies with the Laboratory of Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Medical School of the University of Thessaly, under the scientific supervision of Associate Professor Georgios Rachiotis.
Target Audience
- The program is designed for coordinators/owners of action plans for each tourist accommodation.
- It is also open to personnel of tourist accommodations, including those undergoing practical training.
- Participants must be from enterprises based in Thessaly.
Certificate of Attendance
- A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to the coordinator of each accommodation (for accommodations with 50 rooms) as defined by the accommodation based on the Joint Ministerial Decision with Number 1632/21.04.2021, and to those who complete all units.
- Certificates of Attendance for units will be awarded to other personnel, who will be considered fully trained if they complete all the recommended units for their job position according to the informative guide.
Educational Material and Methodology
- The educational material will be in the form of video lessons, organized into units.
- The evaluation of trainees will be done through questionnaires/quizzes at the end of each unit.
- To successfully complete a unit, the success rate of the questionnaire must be >= 80%, and the corresponding video must have been watched.
- To successfully complete the educational program, the success rate of all questionnaires must be >= 80% (for each questionnaire), and the corresponding videos must have been watched.
Important Dates
- The deadline for the training of tourist accommodations is June 15, 2021.
Scientific Supervisors
- The scientific supervisor of the program is Georgios Rachiotis, Associate Professor of Epidemiology and Occupational Hygiene at the Laboratory of Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Medical School of the University of Thessaly.
- The alternate scientific supervisor is Christos Chatzichristodoulou, Professor at the Medical School of the University of Thessaly.
