Disney Academic International Exchange Program
The Disney Academic International Exchange Program is a life-changing study abroad program that offers valuable training and experience to international undergraduate students. The program combines academics and paid training experience at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Program Overview
The program is offered through the Department of Recreation, Parks, and Leisure Services, and the Center for Leisure Services. It is designed for undergraduate students who are studying tourism, leisure, hospitality, business, communications, marketing, management, and/or sports and recreation.
Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the Academic Exchange Program, students must:
- Be able to speak fluent English
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application submission
- Be currently enrolled and in good academic standing at a participating international college or university
- Be engaged in an appropriate course of study
- Be able to exit the United States and return home upon completion of the program
Program Details
The program has more than 35 years of experience sending students to Walt Disney World Resort, and provides credit to students from over 200 universities and colleges in the United States. The program is a great fit for students who want to gain valuable training and experience in their field, while also completing academic requirements.
Participating Institutions
The program is available to students from international academic institutions that have an exchange partnership with Central Michigan University.
