The Early Childhood Development and Learning program is a nationally accredited course of study that examines the growth and development of children from birth through 8 years. This program prepares students to become lead teachers or directors in preschool, elementary, or childcare settings.
Program Overview
The Early Childhood Development and Learning Major is offered as a B.A., B.A.A., or B.S. degree, and can be completed on campus or online. This major is designed for students who wish to work in non-elementary school early childhood settings, such as child care centers, preschools, Head Start, and Early Head Start programs.
