The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of water sciences, including the management of contaminants, environmental impacts, and water resources.
Publics
The master's program is open to students with a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in ecology, geology, geography, and environment, without prerequisites. The program also accepts students with a professional background in environment (GEMEAU, water quality, processes, etc.). Additionally, students with a degree in physics or chemistry can be accepted based on their motivation for environmental issues.
Competences Developed
The program is structured around six professional competencies:
- Manage contaminants in ecosystems
- Manage environmental impacts on health
- Manage water courses in ecosystems
- Manage reservoirs and resources
- Manage watersheds and water and soil resources
