The …cole Universitaire de Recherche DIGISPORT is a research institution that benefits from state aid managed by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche as part of the Programme d'Investissements d'Avenir integrated into France 2030, with reference ANR-18-EURE-0022. It also receives support from the Rťgion Bretagne and Rennes Mťtropole.

Program Details

The Winter School DIGISPORT 2025 will feature Dr. Lars Riedemann, MD, a specialist in neurology and researcher. He was trained in clinical neurology and biomedical engineering at the University Hospital of Heidelberg, Harvard Medical School, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Riedemann is also an artificial intelligence engineer, medical community builder, and innovation architect, working at the intersection of health, artificial intelligence, and immersive technologies.

Program Focus

The program will focus on integrating Extended Reality (XR) from the lab to clinical practice. Dr. Riedemann will emphasize the need to understand workflow and real needs of caregivers, beyond demonstrations. He will address major challenges (adoption, regulation, clinical impact) and show how XR can improve care. The program will provide participants with strategies for sustainable health integration.
