Master 1 Contrôle de Gestion et Audit Organisationnel

The Master 1 Contrôle de Gestion et Audit Organisationnel is a program offered by the IGR-IAE Rennes. This program is available in several modalities, including FA (Formation Alternance), FC (Formation Continue), and FI (Formation Initiale).

Presentation

The Master CGAO, with a specialization in Systèmes d'Information et Contrôle de Gestion (SICG), offers a double approach, combining control management with technical skills in information systems. This allows graduates to be quickly operational in their first positions and to evolve into managerial functions in control management, accounting, and financial services, as well as in the management of information systems.

Objectives

The program has two main objectives:

• To provide a double competence in systems information and control management.
• To offer a formation in link with enterprises, with professional speakers and a partnership with the DFCG Avenir (Association Nationale des Directeurs Financiers et de Contrôle de Gestion).

After the Program

Graduates can exercise various functions, including:

• Functions in control management: contrôleur de gestion, contrôleur de gestion industriel, responsable du contrôle de gestion, responsable administratif et financier.
• Functions in systems information: maîtrise d'ouvrage (MOA), Direction des Systèmes d'Information (DSI), assistance à maître d'ouvrage (AMOA), coordinateur de projet, consultant en système d'information et en système décisionnel (Business Intelligence), audit interne en systèmes d'information.

Admission

To be admitted to the program, candidates must:

• Be under 30 years old for the apprenticeship contract.
• Be between 16 and 25 years old or be an unemployed person over 26 years old for the professionalization contract.
• Have a diploma or a formation validating 180 ECTS credits (license).
• Meet the selection criteria, including the adequacy of previous training, results, experiences, motivations, and professional project.
• Pass an individual interview before a selection jury.
• Find a company that accepts the conditions of the apprenticeship and proposes a mission, subject to the approval of the pedagogical manager.
• Provide a Score IAE-Message (SIM) of less than three years.

Registration

Registration is open from February 17, 2026, to March 16, 2026. Individual interviews will take place on April 8-9 and 10, 2026. The start of the program is scheduled for August 31, 2026.

Additional Information

The program has a partnership with SAP and offers a certification formula for students who wish to obtain it. The program also has a convention with the DFCG Avenir (Association Nationale des Directeurs Financiers et de Contrôle de Gestion).
