The Quantitative Finance program is a master's program offered by the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Admission Criteria

To be admitted to the program, applicants must meet certain criteria, including:

• Having a minimum of 60 ECTS credits in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance, or 45 ECTS credits in Statistics or Mathematics.
• Not necessarily having 180 ECTS credits or fulfilling the ECTS criteria at the time of application, but being able to prove that they can earn the missing ECTS credits until the program starts.
• Not being required to take the GMAT or GRE, but it is strongly recommended to submit test results, particularly the quantitative score.

Language Proficiency

Applicants must also demonstrate language proficiency in English, with a minimum level of C1.

Program Structure

The program takes four semesters to complete and is designed to be a full-time program. Students can choose to focus on either an industry or science track after the first year.

Tuition Fees

There are no tuition fees for EU students, while non-EU citizens are required to pay a tuition fee of approximately EUR 3,000 for the entire program.
