Program Overview


CEE Vienna International Tax Law Summer School 2026

The Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law is organizing the "CEE Vienna International Tax Law Summer School 2026" from July 13 July 17, 2026. This program is held in English and focuses on the practice of double tax treaties and European tax law.


Program Details

  • The program offers a week of intensive work on scientific topics presented by professors and experienced research associates from the Institute.
  • It is aimed at full-time students from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) who have knowledge about the national law of their home country and are interested in practicing tax law after finalizing their studies.

Eligibility and Application

  • To be eligible, applicants must be full-time students from CEE countries.
  • Applicants must submit a motivation letter, CV, letter of recommendation, and university records as part of their application.
  • A waiver of the participation fee (amounting to EUR 2,000) and travel subsidies can be applied for, with specific requirements and limitations.

Program Structure

  • The program consists of lectures during the day and a social program in the evening.
  • Participants are expected to commit to participating in the whole program.

Accommodation

  • A block booking has been made at IBIS BUDGET WIEN MESSE for participants, with average rates per night (including breakfast) as follows:
    • Single room: EUR 98.00
    • Double room: EUR 110.50
  • Further information on accommodation will be provided upon acceptance to the program.
