Program Overview
Introduction to the Supply Chain Management Master's Program
The Supply Chain Management (SCM) master's program is designed for highly motivated students with above-average grades. A background in business economics, industrial engineering, informatics, and/or geography, with interests in production, transportation, and logistics, business and geo-informatics, and operations research, is desirable.

Formal Requirements
To apply for the program, students must:
- Have completed or be enrolled in a relevant degree program at a recognized Austrian or foreign post-secondary institution.
- Demonstrate sufficient proficiency in English.
Specific Skills
Mandatory skills and knowledge for the program include:
- Three main areas: production and/or transport and/or logistics, management information systems and/or geo-informatics, and mathematics and/or statistics.
- Proof of achievement potential: Valid GMAT Exam, Valid Graduate Record Examinations (GRE), or an academic letter of recommendation.
- Motivation letter. Optional skills include:
- CV.
Deadlines
The application period for the winter semester opens on September 1st of the previous year. There are three deadlines:
- 1st deadline: October 8th (23:59 CET)
- 2nd deadline: January 8th (23:59 CET)
- 3rd deadline: March 8th (23:59 CET)
Selection Process
Applications that meet the formal requirements are forwarded to a panel of experts, who assess the applicants' aptitude for the program based on:
- Academic background
- Skills and knowledge
- Achievement potential
- Subject-specific work experience
Enrolment
For enrolment, all required documents must be provided in person at the Study Service Center. The enrolment period typically ends in the last week of September.
