The Sino-French Cooperative Education Program is a joint initiative between Qingdao University of Science and Technology and the University of Le Havre Normandy in France. The program focuses on the automation major and is based on the automation profession of the School of Automation and Electronic Engineering at Qingdao University of Science and Technology.

- The program was launched in 2004 and was re-signed in 2013 to adopt a 4+0 cooperative education model.
- The program has been approved by the Ministry of Education and has been included in the provincial plan for undergraduate enrollment.
- Students are admitted through the national unified college entrance examination.

Program Background
The University of Le Havre Normandy, located in the fifth-largest port city in Europe, was established in 1984 and has nearly 100 undergraduate majors and several master's and doctoral degree programs. The automation-related majors are the university's traditional advantages, with excellent teachers, advanced equipment, and good experimental conditions.
Program Achievements
- The program has a stable and smooth operation, with six graduating classes and over 1,000 graduates.
- The employment rate of graduates is over 92%, with more than 50 students being admitted to French higher education institutions and nearly 60 students continuing their studies in domestic universities.
- Each year, 1-2 students receive recommended qualifications and are admitted to double-first-class universities.

- Students have achieved excellent results in national-level subject competitions, including the "Intelligent Car Competition" and the "Siemens" Cup Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge.
- Students have also participated in various cultural and artistic activities, with the college football team winning the championship for two consecutive years.
