The Global DEI Program aims to cultivate individuals who possess academic knowledge and recognition of culture, religion, gender, and sexuality, as well as a foundation in the humanities and social sciences, and high communication skills in various languages. The program seeks to contribute to the construction of a diverse society where people with different values and backgrounds coexist.
Program Objectives
The program's objective is to award a Bachelor of International Studies degree to individuals who have achieved the following learning outcomes:
- Possess a sense of identity while being receptive to diverse cultures and values
- Demonstrate a strong interest in and awareness of the trends and issues surrounding diversity in international and Japanese societies
- Acquire academic knowledge and recognition of various cultures, languages, religions, gender, sexuality, human rights, and the environment, and strive to build a society where diverse individuals can participate
- Possess advanced communication skills in English and other foreign languages, as well as Japanese
Learning Outcomes
Upon completing the program, students are expected to have achieved the following learning outcomes:
