The program requires and promotes interdisciplinary knowledge and skills in accounting, corporate finance, tax, legal, and auditing.

The MACFin program is offered by the Institute of Accounting, Controlling, and Auditing. While the compulsory part of the program is taught by the institute's professors, a wide range of elective courses in collaboration with other institutes and practice partners allows students to tailor their studies to their individual interests and needs.

MACFin Awards

Since 2016, the three best MACFin graduates each semester have been awarded prizes, based on their overall grade. The prizes are awarded as follows:

• 2nd Prize: CHF 2,000
• 3rd Prize: CHF 1,000

The award ceremony takes place during the MACFin breakfast before the official Master's Graduation Day celebration.
