HSG-SMU Wealth Management Study Mission

The St.Gallen Institute of Management in Asia organized a Study Mission to Switzerland with a focus on Wealth Management Industry.

• The participants of this study mission were students of the renowned Master of Science in Wealth Management (MWM) at the Singapore Management University.
• Students had an opportunity to learn more about the changing landscape of Swiss Private Banking from Prof. Manuel Ammann.
• They discussed family business topics with Prof. Dr. Thomas Zellweger.
• Prof. Dr. Morkoetter covered the topics of Wealth Planning and Cross Banking.
• In addition to these lectures, which took place on the beautiful campus of the University of St.Gallen, students also had an opportunity to visit several financial institutions in Zurich.
  • During this ''practitioner's day'', students attended talks from executives from a leading family office in Liechtenstein on the practical aspects of wealth planning.
  • Following this session, Head of Wealth Management APAC Switzerland at UBS, Mr. Frank Niedermann delivered an inspirational talk on the future of Private Banking.
  • In the afternoon, students visited Credit Suisse headquarters for a session and HQ tour.
