Program Overview


Introduction to the KI and Management Program

The KI and Management program is a 3-day intensive seminar designed to equip leaders with the skills to tackle real-world industry challenges while learning how to leverage data and artificial intelligence (AI) to transform every aspect of their organization.

The primary objectives of this program include:


  • Identifying and evaluating proven use cases for AI management
  • Harnessing the potential of generative AI for industry-specific applications
  • Acquiring a toolkit for AI to improve daily operations
  • Learning to manage data and AI-driven innovations
  • Initiating change towards a data-driven organization

Program Details

Duration and Format

  • The program is a 3-day intensive seminar with a networking character.
  • It includes hands-on sessions and workshops for practical experience.

Location

  • The seminar will be held at two different locations: Hotel Einstein, St.Gallen (June 2026), and the Weiterbildungszentrum Holzweid (WBZ), St.Gallen (October 2026).

Tuition Fees

  • The program costs CHF 3,900, excluding accommodation costs.
  • The fee includes all instructional materials, lunch, coffee breaks, and social events.

Participation Certificate

  • Participants will receive a participation certificate from the University of St. Gallen upon completion of the program.

Curriculum

The curriculum is structured over three days, focusing on:


  1. Data-Driven Transformation: Fundamentals of AI, data, and AI-based innovation, with the goal of identifying and evaluating AI use cases.
  2. Deep Learning and Generative AI: Machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI, along with their implications for management. The aim is to demystify AI and ML, handle prompting for generative AI, and jointly implement an AI use case.
  3. Enablement of One's Own Organization: Implementation and management of AI, organizational change. The objective is to apply the knowledge in the participant's company, including structures, processes, and tools, and to develop a personal AI action plan with the experts.
