Course Description

The Gas Turbine Theory course covers general considerations of turbomachinery, including classification, Euler's equation, velocity triangle, and cascade analysis. It also covers shaft power and aircraft propulsion cycles, centrifugal compressors, axial flow compressors, combustion systems, axial flow turbines, and prediction of performance of simple gas turbines.
