Program Overview
BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management
The BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management is a nationally accredited qualification that reflects the role of individuals who apply project management skills and knowledge in a variety of contexts, across a number of industry sectors.
Duration
This program is delivered over a period of 1 to 1.5 years. The length of time to complete this qualification will depend on the location, study mode, and/or units selected and will vary depending upon how long a student takes to reach the required competency level.

Entry Requirements
To gain entry into the BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management, it is preferred that individuals:
- Hold a BSB40920 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice or similar qualification, or
- Have vocational experience in a project management-related role without holding a formal qualification.
A pre-enrolment interview will be conducted, and a lecturer will determine whether a Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital Literacy (LLND) assessment is necessary to establish support requirements or to meet eligibility requirements for VET Student Loans.
Course Structure
To achieve the BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management, a total of twelve (12) units of competency must be completed, comprising eight (8) core and four (4) elective units.

Elective Units
Four elective units must be selected, with at least two from the listed elective units. The remaining two units can be selected from the listed elective units or from a Diploma or above from this or any other currently endorsed Training Package qualification or accredited course.
