Performance} Digital | From augmented realities to (digital) visual performance - Workshop on Digital Humanities
The workshop explores the adaptations of modern performances in the contemporary context through virtual reality, augmented reality, and videomapping installations, and then reflects on their digital communication in today's visual culture.
The event is divided into two sessions. The first session consists of a theoretical introduction to the topic and the digital tools analyzed, followed by lessons given by professional guests and experts in the field of digital humanities. The second session consists of diversified application workshops for different levels and conducted by tutors and workshop leaders. Between one event and the next, students will work independently on their projects through individual and group tutoring sessions. During the workshops, students will acquire skills that will allow them to use digital tools and apply them to their research on the analysis of textual and visual sources; present their research in paper and digital format; design and publish their digital archives, editions, exhibitions, and artist's books.
No prior knowledge is required to attend the series. Participants can prepare for each workshop by downloading the required digital tools and working on the exercises introduced in the previous meeting. It is possible to participate in one or more events within the series. The workshops are aimed primarily at Bachelor, Master, and doctoral students, and the academic community. Online and on-site participation is open to the public.
