The course "Introduction to Ecumenism" is part of the Master of Theology program.
Description
The unity of the Christian community is a gift from God, but it is also a continuous duty of the community itself. The course explores the historical development of ecumenism, from the Oxford Movement to the recent magisterial documents, in order to derive guidelines for an ecumenical theology.
Objectives
The course aims to analyze the historical development of ecumenism and to derive guidelines for an ecumenical theology, through a study of the movements and documents that have shaped the ecumenical landscape.
Teaching Methods
The course is taught in presence.
Assessment Methods
Students will be assessed through oral exams or written works.
