Program Overview

The Universit‡ della Svizzera italiana offers a training program for start-ups in collaboration with Innosuisse, the Swiss agency for the promotion of innovation. This program aims to support the development of entrepreneurial ideas, the establishment of companies, and the creation of growth strategies for start-ups.

Program Structure

The program consists of four modules, each addressing different aspects of entrepreneurship:

  • Module 1 - Business Ideas: An event designed to introduce participants to the world of entrepreneurship, featuring testimonials from successful young entrepreneurs and opportunities for interaction and inspiration.
  • Module 2 - Business Concept: A semester-long course, free of charge and conducted in English, providing theoretical foundations for creating a start-up, including business model development and pitch preparation. The course includes practical exercises where participants work in groups on entrepreneurial projects.
  • Module 3 - Business Creation: An intensive 5-day course organized by sector (ICT, Advanced Engineering, Biotechnology/MedTech, Social Entrepreneurship) in various regions of Switzerland. It targets young entrepreneurs in the process of establishing their start-ups, offering insights into business plan elaboration and start-up management.
