Summer School for Journalists and Media Practitioners

The Summer School is a unique chance to take a step back from the daily news grind and dive into the bigger picture: media freedom, policy, innovation, and the future of journalism in a rapidly changing world. The programme provides an up-to-date overview of legal frameworks and policy developments, while fostering interactive learning and meaningful discussions.

  • The programme offers fully-funded scholarships, with 31 editions since 2012, and 13 global scholarships.
  • The Summer School features 5 days of intensive training and networking, with a focus on current trends shaping journalism, including the impact of technology, evolving content regulation, and innovative business models for the news industry.
